Who we are?
Joanna and Chrysoula are dance teachers from Greece, based in Edinburgh. extensively trained in Bachata dance (e.g. Moderna, Sensual, traditional). We are both certified Bachata Instructors from Marco & Sara (Esencia Method - Bachata Fusion), Magda and Valeria (Bachata Moderna), as well as from the World Mastery program with Korke y Judith, and Daniel y Desiree.
Focus:
Our focus is on smooth partnerwork and functional styling for both leaders and followers.
Our goal is to guide our students to succeed in any goal they have and improve their skills in a lovely dance journey. Some of the areas we work with our student community are: leading and following technique, social dance moves, functional styling, body movement and musicality.
Milestones:
Since 2022, we have pioneered in offering high-standard dance training and events in the Bachata community of Scotland. Among others, we have led the first-ever Bachata teams from Scotland which performed internationally on the biggest European stages (e.g. Benidorm Summer Festival, Bachata King Festival,Bachata Geneva Festival,Bachata Spain) and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We are currently running the first-ever Bachata competition teams.
We run weekly classes and organise monthly and yearly Bachata events, bringing only the best of the best teachers and quality for our students and community! In December, we organise the Sin Fin Bachata Festival -the biggest festival in Scotland and the most international congress in the whole UK!
